Aectual x Hermès: A Second Chapter in Creative Collaboration

We’re proud to once again collaborate with la maison Hermès. This second partnership continues our shared journey—exploring how architecture and digital fabrication can enrich retail experiences in imaginative and meaningful ways.

From a traveling kiosk to a striking storefront installation, each project brings Hermès’ poetic stories to life through cutting-edge 3D-printed design.

Our first collaboration began with the Monde d’Hermès Kiosk—an elegant reinterpretation of the classic Parisian newsstand. Installed in Knokke and Rotterdam, the pavilion invited visitors into the whimsical Hermès universe. Created with our custom Freeline 3D printing system and a refined, plant-based material, the design blended craftsmanship with tactile charm.

For our second collaboration, Hermès asked us to help realise their seasonal vision in Amsterdam. Designed by renowned architecture firm MVRDV, the Crystal Houses façade became the stage for “Galloping through the Park”—a joyful scene where a horse arrives in Vondelpark, adorned in Hermès finery by a chorus of birds.

Spanning two levels of transparent glass, the installation features colourful, sculptural elements—digitally designed and precisely printed—combining movement, nature, and narrative in a vibrant celebration of the Hermès world.
