Ben jij handig, werk je graag met je handen en hou je van afwisselend werk? Dan is dit misschien wel jouw droombaan! Aectual zoekt een werkplaats assistent voor ons creatieve en duurzame 3D printbedrijf in Amsterdam.
Bij Aectual maken we bijzondere interieurproducten met grote 3D printers: van muren en wandpanelen en plafonds tot gevels voor winkels. En dat allemaal van gerecycled plastic. Klanten als Nike, Tiffany & Co. en BMW werken al met ons samen. Jij kunt daar onderdeel van zijn!
Wat ga je doen?
Je werkt samen met onze lab manager en zorgt dat alles op rolletjes loopt. Denk aan:
- Materialen verzamelen, sorteren en klaarzetten
- Voorraad bijhouden en samples maken (zagen en labelen)
- Opbouwen van mock-ups en nabewerken van 3D prints
- Materialen verwerken (zoals vermalen en versnipperen)
- Klaarmaken van producten voor transport
- Inrichten van de showroom en ondersteunen bij events
- Klein onderhoud aan machines en apparatuur
- Administratie van materialen in ons systeem
- Werken met stapelaar en gereedschap zoals afkortzaag en boormachine
Wat vragen we van jou?
- Je hebt een mbo-opleiding afgerond
- Je bent handig en houdt van aanpakken
- Je werkt netjes en gestructureerd
- Je hebt een rijbewijs (B)
- Ervaring of interesse in kunststoffen/plastics is mooi meegenomen

Are you hands-on, enjoy working with tools, and looking for a varied job? This might be your perfect fit! Aectual is looking for a Workshop Assistant to join our creative and sustainable 3D printing company in Amsterdam.
At Aectual, we make unique architectural and interior design products using large-scale 3D printers – from walls and ceilings to custom façades for stores – all made from recycled plastic. Brands like Nike, Tiffany & Co., and BMW already work with us. You could be part of that too!
What will you do?
You’ll work closely with our lab manager and help keep everything running smoothly. Tasks include:
- Collecting, sorting, and preparing materials
- Managing stock and making samples (cutting and labeling)
- Building mock-ups and post-processing 3D prints
- Processing materials (grinding, shredding)
- Preparing products for transport
- Setting up the showroom and helping during events
- Performing small maintenance tasks on machines and tools
- Registering materials in our system
- Using tools such as a pallet truck, chop saw, and drill
What do we ask from you?
- You’ve completed an MBO-level education
- You’re practical, hands-on, and proactive
- You work in an organized and tidy way
- You have a driver’s license (B)
- Experience or interest in plastics is a plus
