Following the successful debut at Milan Design Week 2024, which earned Aectual and Philips the prestigious Masterly Milan ’24 award, the collaboration continues at Dutch Design Week 2024 with a new bar design. This time, the bar showcases striking black and grey hues, serving as the perfect backdrop for Philips MyCreation’s new 3D-printed lamps.

The Magic of 3D-Printed Weave Panels

A standout feature of the bar are Aectual’s 3D-printed Weave panels, crafted from recycled, plant-based plastic. These panels are particularly special due to their unique flexible material, which falls somewhere between a rigid panel and a fabric. By layering various pattern designs, a woven effect is created.

Typically used for wall cladding, ceiling panels, or room dividers, the bar showcases the wide range of possibilities of Aectuals Weave panels. Learn all about Aectual’s Weave panels here.
